The short story is about a young adolescent and an old worn barn that was used as a gym. In the hopes of bringing back old memories shared with friends. Over time the barn has become rugged and has changed from the way everyone remembered it.

I can relate to this story because, like the author if this story, I used to have a shed used for playing basketball. I agree with the story because after playing in a comforting environment for so long, one can become accustomed to the location and develop a sense of relaxation and comfort-ability. To become attached to an environment is somewhat common, so i am not surprised what I see in Ayersville could relate to this article. At Ayersille, its more of a comfort zone issue. Everybody is placed in a circle and hardly anyone is willing to try new/different things.
