Just a Bird in a Nest

Just a bird in a nest,
that’s never taken flight,
too afraid to try
so why even fight?
If you jump out,
you’ll fall far downward
and then you’ll be dead,
so you stay a coward.
Whether you think you’re a winner or loser,
you’ll always be right,
so again you think-
why even fight?
You silently watch,
as your nest-mates jump out,
and they pump their wings hard
without a single doubt.
So stop being the bird
in the little, comfy nest.
Go out and take chances
because life is just a test.
