I enjoyed this short story and i think it was interesting. i agree with the boy and think that parents and their kids should talk about things more and communicate better. Probably 90-95% of Ayersville High School have struggled with depression, anger or trouble at home and have had no one to talk to who knows how they feel or what they've gone through. Teenagers of my generation don't have very good relationships with their parents. We don't talk about any of our emotions to them because we don't trust them and we believe that if we do, they will see the real us and not like and take advantage of it. It is a lot easier to talk to someone who's been through the same thing as you have because they understand how you feel. That is why, if you've had trouble at home, talking to your parents is good.
