I Can't Rhyme

Poetry...does it have to rhyme?
I might as well be covered in slime,
the words keep slipping,
cause I keep tripping,
all I want to do is rhyme,
this must be a crime,
wait what do you say?
I have been rhyming the whole time?
There must me something in that slime,
because I can’t rhyme.
