Chain Linked Fence

Chain linked fence
Guarding my emotions
Protecting my thoughts
Keeping me in

Chain linked fence
Letting nothing out to run about
Limiting all
From behind a mental wall

Chain linked fence
Caged, confined, constricted
Bottled in and bound by lies
Forever cursed until I die

This chain-linked fence
That I cannot stand
I’m bound to snap
In chains I’m damned

This is a really good poem, I like your repetition of the chain linked fence in every stanza.

Wow! This was really cool. The way you started each stanza the same way really left an impact. It's a great technique! Five stars!

I like how much you detailed the different aspects of the fence, the good and the bad. Beautiful job, nice imagery!

Its really cool how the chains both keep dangerous things out but also constrict this person in terms of his emotions. I really like it, keep it up!!!

Wow i love that. I love the way you made metephorical chains seem more like real ones. It's something everyone can relate to and it's filled with pain and anger. It's perfect.
