"The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do." -Unknown

Who said what you are capable of?
The dead below and the Standard above
Never said what your heart could weigh,
And never told you what you could say,
Why are you hiding, why are you afraid?
Why are you lying in the mess you made?
Let your demon go, let it fly,
Throw it to the merciless sky,
Don't you know that it's all pretend?
Like childhood's worst imaginary friend,
Half the devils are in our head,
And half the ghosts are in our bed,
And half the apologies we never said
To half our loves that were never dead,
Are holding us back, ball and chain,
Are grinding our bones and causing our pain,
So don’t let half your wholes be half instead,
Unless you want another devil burning in your head.

This is a poem (obviously). It's not my best, sorry, I just like the rhyme scheme. Mainly it's about not limiting yourself and letting go of the unnecessary weight you may be carrying around.
