I told myself that I wouldn't miss you,
But now that lie has kicked in,
You said we were through,
But the fading of that feeling never did begin,
Now my eyes begin to cry bitter tears,
And I remember the times when you were beside me,
Now those memories are just fears,
It's a darkness that doesn't allow me to see,
It's a locked door,
And I don't have the key,
I'm Love's prisoner,
And I'll never be free.
