I woke up this morning to decapitate the head of domestic abuse
Chipped bricks became my fractured ribs; where I use to hold you.
These bones… these brittle… bones hold your history.
Taking blows just to see you smile at night, you are my wimping willow.
I stood there, laid here, absorbing your secrets.
They woke me by injecting adrenaline to the heart; only to relay a message:

If only I could count on you like my heartbeat
If only;
Loving it when you help my blood flow; but hating it when you give me blood clots.
Putting me into anxiety
I digress it’s more like cardiac arrest
Body lassitude and mental status decelerated

If only I could count on you like my heartbeat
You remind me of when I had a heart murmur; you’re so irregular
Seems like we less compatible
Making the tunes in my chest distort!
Making the tunes in my heart distort!
Making the tunes in my soul distort!
More bass than ever and a loud enough ensemble to make the sky cry
Circuitry gone haywire
Bpm devices accede my code red

If only I could count on you like my heartbeat
I wouldn’t have died on the inside from a heart attack, that led into a seizure
