Sadness strikes like a dagger to the heart
Laughs fade to tears of disappointment
This life is a bamboozle
I hope it is a deceitful misunderstanding
The worry that exerts itself within me
Pain of these thoughts is controlling
The salty sobs forever stained upon my cheeks
Joy is what my spirit seeks
Should I ignore this, which effects me daily?
Wishing that something will change within me
This is the controversy between me, myself, and I
This is my life, I say with a sigh...
