Recall a burden given right at birth.
one not of girth but rather massive strife.
Atlas could not fathom nor could the gods.
This weight though common is profoundly odd.
Many will conceive my inner most thoughts.
For most my thoughts, my words won't be lucid.
This weight can be as dark quite like charcoal.
or white as snow, hair blonde as sunflowers
The dark ones payed for their burden with death.
and endured hardships like all of the rings of the divine comedy.
Songs were sung with lyrics full of joy
But meanings did carry sadness galore
Strange fruit was borne and bodies endured flames.
And long ascots were not fashionable
To some this burden is a gift from God
To eradicate uniformity
I shall say its a blessing in facade.
For unity is bliss only if there's difference
So this so called burden I hold I love.
yet oneness itself to get will begin.
Once you overcome the burden of skin.

this piece simply attempts to attack the problems people endure because of their skin, in a poetic like stature.
