no place like home
A house and a home
They don’t stand-alone
They are of the same definition
Hand in hand with equal recognition
The difference lies in the structure and in physique
Solved by an intricate sketch, carefully critiqued
A house built by each individual board and nail
But a home is built from a tale
Memories line each of the bricks and trimming
Meant to last to the end from the beginning
Some have the urge to let go because of past pain
But no matter what the presence it will always remain
Even if the building is ruins, and residence have retired
The thought will always be remembered and admired
We hold cause through our true identity inside
Through the rooms light will always shine and provide
We will always desire to be together, always longing
For the sense it gives us, the sense of belonging
We leave a mark on it; it leaves an imprint on our heart
The two will never in the end be apart
But a house is residential
And a home is sentimental.
