Your voice...
So soft and gentle
As if talking to a wounded animal
But knowing...
Your talking to a wounded girl
Whose tears fall so lightly
and are rarely seen
Whose cries are always heard
In the midst of the night
So pained and grief stricken
Longing for something
That's just outta reach
Memories that are bound
around my heart
Memories...
That can be seen
Within my wounded soul
...Behind my tear filled eyes...
Is the pain
That longs for the boy
Who ran away
With the key to my heart <3
