I Beg You Not To Jump

My dearest friend,
Do not jump.
I beg you not to jump.
Just step down from that ledge
And bring this madness to an end.

I’m standing by you now
With you,
In your pain.
Now please, come to your senses.
I promise to help you end this.

My heart and soul,
Do think this over,
Don’t rush so fast to give life up.
This is a big decision you are about to make.
So come down already, for goodness sake!

Is it a reason that you want?
I need you,
And I love you with all my heart.
Without you, what would I be?
You’re important, a special person to me.

My dear you make me tear.
Come, come
Do not lose hope.
I’m with you all the way through
But this is the one thing I just won’t let you do.

My dearest friend,
Never forget,
My shoulder is yours to cry on
And my hand is yours to hold.
Forever we shall be friends, together we shall grow old.

I wrote this to myself. A part of me wanted to end it all and to just die. But the other part of me wanted to live and grow.
