This quiet cloth
So beautiful
So shy
With its design
Of precious threads
Moving together
To create
This masterpiece
This simple cloth
May not be so
For if you look closely
You would uncover
The reality behind
This cloth
This shield
Has a job to do
Not only to protect
But to expose
Modesty
Integrity
Dignity
To be
Without
My cloth
Would I still
Be me?
I owe
