Dreams of Lies
My head filled with your face
From your short, black hair
To your caramel skin
From your chocolaty brown eyes
To your sweet lips
But then I remember those lips
They used to speak of love
They used to call me beautiful
They used to want mine
But that's what they used to do
Then they spoke of leaving
Of no longer wanting this
Wanting us
But why can my head remember this
But not want to comprehend
Why can it listen
But not understand
I honestly wish I could live my dream
But my dream is just lies
Because never in my life
Will I get you back
Because you could never understand
How I truly
And genuinely feel about you
How much I love you
How much I care
Because never in my life
Will my dreams of lies come true
