I look in the mirror
Not pleased with the reflection
What more can I do
I’ve tried all that I can
So many events coming up
I need to look perfect
That stereotypical skinny teenager
Why do I feel the need to be that?
I look again
Accepting of what I am
Knowing that I’ve done all that I can
I’m already where I want to be
Happy and healthy.
