Fire Is Spreading
I am like an abandoned ware house
Unwanted, alone, and slowly falling apart
Dry boards with old paint, nothing new
But despite the cold, friends will be warmly welcomed

 I am like gasoline
Used by everyone to fill their empty souls
Watery eyes try to douse the coals
But it’s only feeding the fire inside

 I am like a spark
One look is all it takes
Until their vicious, wicked laughter is like thunder
Echoing endlessly thought the burning flames

 I am like a mirror
I don’t care about their sharp words
They ricochet off of me back to them
But they always manage to make a crack

 I am the flames
Warming the coldest hearts with the blaze in my eyes
But remember that when you play with fire
 You going to get burned
