My mind is a cave-
On a mountain, secluded from life
Dark, cold,
alone,
are the recesses of my brain.
This is what I deserve.
My body is an island-
A pariah, rejected by the ocean
Stranded at sea.
Everyone is happier this way.
My heart is a disease-
It eats away at those I attempt to love,
Blackening my life.
This is how it is meant to be.
The rain is my teardrops-
Streaming silently down my expressionless face,
Washing away my pain.
This is just my average day.
