Him, Her, and Everyone Else

He doesn’t know what he’s getting into
For he’s too high to realize
But I know what these drugs can do
Addiction changes more than one life
Families will be hurt forever
The closest will be in sorrow
He doesn’t understand together
Stealing trust-not just borrowed
It’s just a matter of time
Before he will ask me
To help heal his mind
A chance to remake “we”
But of course I’ll say no
My trust-not just borrowed
