I'm only
A score on state tests;
A Social Security number;
One in the population.
My purpose is
To be born;
Fulfill my role;
And die.
I'm not supposed
To do the unexpected;
To go against unwritten rules;
To step out of line.
And I doubt
The world will ever forgive me
For speaking out of turn.
