"The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane."
-Marcus Aurelius

Their fiction is my dedication
Even though we are all the same
Their diction siphons my elation
For the clocks know my name
A circle has never haunted me so
Even despite my claim to fame
Infinity has become a foe
For the clocks know my name
Their screech is the omen
For I am the opposite of tame
I seek calmness and Zen
For the clocks know my name
Past, present, future tense
Conjugating is no petty game
Language has no sin to dispense
For the clocks know my name
12 hands move all at once
All clocks aren’t the same
Yet no one sees the passing of months
For the clocks know our name
