calling my name again
this infection wants me dead
i see scattered black pools
dreaming of their value
once they harden and cool
this strange thing won't let me go
keeps me from being lost
while it nails me to a cross
neither my friend nor foe
like an exotic rebel angel
lover of darkness and powerful
forcing me to think
& spiritually evolve
wiring me
to rise above it all
it causes me pain...
if i try to run away...
the voodoo monster from the sea of blood
its little isle just isn't enough
& somehow it keeps...
it's coming after me
