I Hate You
When you left the river pounded with a storm
The earth shook with a rough tremble
Wind became suffocated through the air
When you left
Tears became rivers that flowed the earth’s air
The pain of anguish became lightning
To the planet covered with mist of sorrow
These hands become numb with despair
Blood and flesh morph into frozen shields
A heart stopped beating
When you left
Never again will I sleep
Frozen cold without a peep
I hate you
Tears well up in my eyes
I’m ready for death to come, goodbye
I hate you
