“He’s not perfect. You aren’t either, and the two of you will never be perfect. But if he can make you laugh at least once, causes you to think twice, and if he admits to being human and making mistakes, hold onto him and give him the most you can."

When I'm sad the whole world seems sad,
The day feels dreary,
And no one acts the same..?
When i erase my mistakes
On this computer
I wish it could erase away the pain.
The time i feel loneliest
Is when I’m in a crowded area
Because i know nobody cares.
My frown is the frown
Everyone fears.
I feel empty
Yet a smile crosses my face.
I plaster it there
So everyone gets through their day.
But when those days come,
And i can’t even pretend.
I wear a frown around
And everyone's happiness ends.
A plastered smile is always there,
Through sadness,
Through anger,
So everyone all around,
Can wear a smile all through their day.
But just once,
Even for a while,
I’d like to pretend
That the plastered smile,
Is not at all fake.
I want to be a happy bird.
I want to be free.
I'd like it to be on
For you and for me.
So when you walk around
Wear a happy face
Because when you don’t smile
In everyone’s heart,
There’s an empty space.

This poem is dedicated to my idol, Demi Lovato. You have been through so much & you’re still so strong. I admire your strength & will to continue. It has really inspired me. You have inspired me to continue writing when the times got rough & I thank you for that. Someday I hope to meet you.
