Favorite Quote:
"As if you could kill time without injuring eternity" -Henry David Thoreau

We go there for you to help us, you to help us.
Help.
You tell us it’s bad, unsafe, deadly
as if we didn’t know

We return every week
ready to hear the same.
An hour’s up, and it’s time,
unproductive time. Again.

Yet
I come home every day –
Wanting to, needing to
Worse than ever

We go for the help
We really do,
I promise.
Well, there’s always next week

This poem is about my own personal struggle with therapy for an eating disorder, but it can relate to many other issues.
