The breeze of a chilly afternoon
The hairs on your neck stand
Goosebumps rise upon your arms

Sitting on mobile stacks of hay
On a rusty old wagon
The air stings your face as you go

Warmish tang of sweet apple
Sweet cider at your fingertips
Joy of the day in a steaming cup

All different and unique types
Orange with seeds and flavor
The soon to be perfect pie

Colored leaves that crunch beneath me
Sending a notice that yes
Its fall

Together we search
For the perfect canvas
Which one should we choose?
Which one?

Mud that squishes under my boots
Making my polka dot boots brown with mud
A gloopy mess beneath my feet

Face frightening with an old cloth
Hair dry and crunchy as straw
They have no chance against my mighty soldier

Stalks stand high in the chilly day
Mighty and proud
Yellow as the sun

The blades will slice this hollow sphere
Making a lively face
Set with a sparkling glow

Holding up are pumpkins
Sturdy and content
A magical adventure
Don’t you think?

A child not to old
Sits upon her sisters lap
Watching the captured moments of the day
Slide by on a cameras screen
Almost like a roller coaster
Hand in hand we’ll go!
