I am beaten and bruised
Battered and damned
untamed and bewildered.
I will take your emotion
make it new and stronger
the clash of my cymbals
will ring through your heart
The beat of the toms
will tear you apart
Let the snares ensnare you
wrap up in your mind
and coil around
1,2,3,4 is all you will hear
I am a magician
the sound blaring in your ear
Made of many
but I am but one
I need another
the click-clack of sticks
to create the noise
that so many seek after
and rarely any master
If you can escape
The drum throne
was never your place.
