Freedom
Freedom
It was a rainy bitter day.
It seemed like nothing was going right,
I was car shopping.
I could not find a decent car for a good price.
My mom and I decided to be done for the day and headed to my grandmas’ house.
That’s when it happened.
Right across the street from my grandma’s street lies a shimmering 2001 black Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ext. cab 4x4.
I was in madly love.
The price was listed at $6000 but, I took it for a test drive anyway
After the test drive I was even more in love.
When I got back to the old mans house he was lighting up a huge cigar
I stepped out of the car and said ill pay $3000 cash.
He pondered on the thought for a moment
When he came out of his state of mind he shook my hand and said deal.
I was so surprised I had just bought my first car!
I handed him $3000 in cash and signed the papers
The drive home I felt so free!
The windows rolled down, wind blowing through my hair, radio on
I felt so alive and accomplished!
