Poems
Choosing poems can be hard,
Especially for a birthday card.
My favorites are the ones that rhyme,
They make me happy all the time.
Dr.Seuss is like my idol,
I love that his poem’s have creative titles,
Including characters, settings, plots, and themes,
The five most important things.
Time flies by fast,
So don’t be last,
To find the one that will,
Make you imagine a beautiful hill.
Poems can be scary or silly,
Some can even make you say “really”,
However others can be serious or strong,
They can be emotional or long.
Every poem is contains a part of you,
You will never want to be blue.
Like a Sheppard watching his herd of sheep,
You’ll have the one you want to keep.
