Burried above under ground
Under the ashes and my memories
Steel beams crashin' on the New York City streets
Hate and love in the ashes
Under the flames
And the sirens keep getting closer
Coming from far away cities and states
Coming closer, closer for me for you
Broadcasting from New York City:
THE TWIN TOWERS ARE FALLING
ENGULFED IN FLAMES
THEY'RE GOING DOWN JUST LIKE A PLANE
All the tears should have been able to put out the fires
Smoke in the skies
Tears in our eyes
I'm going down the stairs
Being passed by firemen going up, up, up
What's going down, who's going up?
Taking off, crashing down
Tearing our families apart and the little kids don't understand the thousands of tears drowning them
Women running in their high heels
Jobs, lives, memories, peace
All taking off from this country
The only thing destined to follow
Is to fight where we believe it started
We're just going to make it worse because we're so blinded by our tears
By our hearts
By our souls
The country's torn apart
Burried above under ground
Under the ashes and my memories
Steel beams crashin' on the New York City streets
