I know the day that I can drive
Is when I turn sixteen
But I don't think I'm ready though
I'll tell you what I mean

I have problems with right and left
I can't tell which is which
I don't know how to work the car
I don't know any switch

I do not know the street names
I promise I'll get lost
For that I will need lots of gas
And I shudder at the cost

I do know all the car gears
Neutral, park, reverse, and drive
But I'm scared to go out on the roads
I'd like to stay alive

So I shouldn't get my license
For all the world's sake

Which pedal is the brake
