Before footprints
Before car tracks
Before humanity has stepped outside.
You awake to see a blanket of nature
You see waves of soft, billowing crystal.
The snow is layed so perfectly; like a finished puzzle........
You never heard a sound in your bed.
The snow just appeared the next crisp, cold morning.
Then, the beauty which people wish could be preserved is melting slowly away.
But stays, still. In our hearts
