I lie here deeply bleeding,
Yet there you lay soundly sleeping.
I call for you but you don't stir.
I begin to wonder if we ever were.
I begin to cry ever so quietly,
Death is shaking violently .
Sound asleep, there you lie,
As if waiting for me to die.
As the dark creeps up and over,
My tears trickle down forever.
I feast my eyes upon captivity,
You'll forever sleep and never be free.
Yet there you lay soundly sleeping.
I call for you but you don't stir.
I begin to wonder if we ever were.
I begin to cry ever so quietly,
Death is shaking violently .
Sound asleep, there you lie,
As if waiting for me to die.
As the dark creeps up and over,
My tears trickle down forever.
I feast my eyes upon captivity,
You'll forever sleep and never be free.
