Memeries
To: Grandma Judy
My grandpa is gone too soon in life,
But I can’t help remember all the good times we had.
Reading books on his lap,
Him asking questions after.
All the rides in his wheel chair,
We come to love.
Dancing and singing to all oldies songs,
That grandpa could listen to all day long.
The 4th of July was a special time of year,
Grandpa started a tradition that we still hold dear.
Although it’s been 4 Christmas’s since grandpa was here,
We still have the great memories of his great cheer.
I hope for you grandma, this brings you to smiles,
To know I think of him every once and a wile.
I loved my grandpa and wish he was here,
And the best things in life can’t reappear.
