To me, true beauty is not seen, but felt.
It's not just about the cards you were dealt.
Beauty isn't the sparkle that's just skin deep.
It's the glow from within that barely makes a peep.

True beauty comes fourth when no one is aware.
It comes from your heart when you truly care.
The glitz and the glamour people see right through.
Just take off the mask and show the real you.

Beauty is like the ocean, gorgeous on the outside
But beneath the surface real beauty resides.
You can't just pick a book 'cause the outside is appealing.
One must read the inside to understand the real meaning.

It's not what's on the outside that really matters,
We can't judge people like they're sitting on platters.
You can see true beauty by looking into eyes.
Everything else is just a disguise.
