Every minute counts
One hour, one minute
one moment in a day
The wildest pursuit
of one hurting prey
One minute, one second
removed thoughts of fear
It is my fault I reckon
not being able to hear
one day, one night
the sirens loudly screaming
Police arrived to fight
the man that had been dreaming
One second, one thought
could prevent such a scene
where blood and pain I fought
because he didn't stay clean
