Not Enough
You’re asked to do your best
And you give everything you have
 But it’s not enough

 You’re told to look pretty
So you spend hours in front of the mirror
But find out it’s not enough

 You’re asked to be creative
 So you improvise
 But instead you get criticized
 And said it’s not enough

 You’re told to act natural
And you do so by being yourself
But instead you’re looked down upon
And was told it’s not enough

You’re asked to do your best again
This time you don’t and give up
 Because either way
It’s never going to be enough
