My Mind Races

May 1, 2008
By Kevin Valentine, Herndon, VA

My mind races as time places answer for empty spaces,
Millions of pictures in a series leave me weary,
Brain power will devour any thought that’s sour,
Controlling emotions so heavy id think they are soakin’,
From stressed to relieved to content to indeed,
Fuel to my fire ignites in my dome till thoughts become a clone,
Double and triple till my head unscrews just a little,
Rev on the engine of knowledge gearing thoughts I acknowledge,
Racing till the end of the track my mind is driving never ridin’ in the back.
