A poem should be strong and loud.
Standing alone fully proud.
Smart.
Not one you can tear apart.
Not one to back down.
Or leave the reader guessing.
Always there, always around.
Not one to let you down.
A poem should keep the reader intrigued.
They should never want to put it down.
This is what a poem should be.
Sorry not should be, is.
