I Got it

I got it when I was sixteen and half
I knew it would last
The joy of getting it on my very first try
I later drove and got some pie
It was one of the happiest days in recent years
I can’t believe I didn’t fall into tears
I was on top of the world filled with glee
So happy I slapped my knee
Know the responsibility is all mine
To drive is a test of time
Until you get in an accident which sucks
I did three weeks after with not much luck
