That Which Gives the Illusion

That which gives the illusion
Of that which is wanted most?
Of that which is unattainable?
Of what is not needed?
Of things that cannot be reached with modern science
Things wanted but never attainable
The fire burning but never fed
The light with reserve in a terrific storm
The truth in a room of liars and imposters
Soaring of the heart
Soaring of the mind
Soaring of the physical body
Soaring of the emotion as you feel the wind through your wings
Nothing feels greater
Nothing is more
Nothing can rival the feeling
Nothing and yet more
A love and a lust for the unattainable
True flight in a bright blue going dark
Under the moonlit sky
