Beach

Slow, cool breeze
Glistening blue water
The sand, soft and golden
Laying Beneath your feet

Sandcastles built all around
Seashells moving in with the tide
All different, everyone unique
Never two the same

Waves crash
As they hit the shore
Taking the tide back into the ocean
After each wave, the cycle repeats

The boardwalk, so peaceful
Seeing miles beyond the shore
Watching the waves crash underneath you
As the ocean wind pushes your hair back

The sun sets and the breeze gets cooler
bonfires start up
sitting around the fire
as you see the last waves in the sunset

I love the beach. It brings back the memory of summer and being there. I hope people will get the feel of being at the beach when they read my poem.
