Powerless in the Mountains

Powerless should go to the Appalachian Mountains
And climb to the top of a trail
And just look out and see
She should see all the valleys below
And the sky so close.
Powerless should sit down and wait
Wait and watch.
She should see everything she accomplished
And will accomplish.
Powerless needs to realize that she has power
Or she will forever be this way.
But powerless won’t feel this way
And won’t make it to the top
She will just sit and rest half-way
Until someone comes to save her.
