The Fishbowl

Our lives are full of cycles,
Spinning round and round.
It makes us feel lost,
Longing to be found.
For while we're in a fishbowl,
People watch us all day long.
Waiting for the next story-
Our gossip a loud song.
And tho' we think it's natural,
Just how the world works
We never really think
Of who we actually hurt.
We live our lives in fishbowls,
Spinning round n' round-
Waiting for real love
To make us feel found.
