Her fingertips rest on the windowpane
Her fingertips rest on the windowpane
Alas she sees only pouring rain
Through the fog she sees his shadow
She finds him looking back at her
She wonders why she didn’t say those words

 He’s stumbling down the path
Dark with sadness in his eyes
He glances back to the window
But then he remembers, her laugh, so surprised

As their eyes meet, their faces blush
It was much more than just a crush
But yet he says he has to go
And then she thinks, he’ll never know

In her surprise he turns around
His love for her was finally found
She can’t believe how she’s so sure
That their love for each other is so pure
