Riding to school,
cold and dark.
Hitting the potholes,
squeaking the brakes.
Sliding in the turns,
crashing into banks.
Swish
Swash
Swish
goes the snow as you hit the banks.
All hearing goes slash,
body swings down,
rolling on the wheels.
Back slides out smacking the snow banks,
felling the pain on your side.
