Shaking at
The knees,
Paralyzed to
The spot.
Can't believe
What I see.
Lips, hands,
Closed eyes.
My anger is
Boiling over.
I glare towards
The sky.
My throat
Threatens to
Choke me.
I stand
Completely still,
Frozen by fear
Of what I might do.
I don't
Understand
His betrayal.
I was nothing
But the best
To him.
Was it a
Loss of interest?
The hunger for
Something new?
Worse yet,
Am I being
Tested?
