Whimpers at their first
syllables instantly declined
by my ear drums.
At the push of a button,
I know all will be well,
frequency accepted.
Indie, electronic,
instrumental, classic rock,
sometimes even blues.
Melodies that vibrate
through my body and voices
that linger in my mind.
I can control what I
hear and enjoy nothing more
than that.
