God's Wish to Share

March 19, 2008
By Angela Calder, Bellingham, MA

“I have kept every promise I’ve made to you, can you not remember one for me?”
A gift to accept, a gift to share

Black or white
Thick or thin

Through every door find a friend
Listen, love, laugh

No matter what the discord
Don’t think of anyone different

Embrace a vision of friends, celebrate in harmony

One must be willing to get along, together we show God’s will

Nations should gather, not one of them prejudice
Not one rejected

Do this with spirit and content
Knowing you will forever live out God’s dream

Why am I fighting to live, when I'm just living to fight. Why am I trying to see when there ain't nothing in sight. Why am I trying to give when no one gives me a try. Why am I dying to live, when I'm just living to die.

That's deep
