Umbrella Girl

Their she was,
in the strawberry field,
with her cloud umbrella,
instrumental birds and dancing deer all around her,
and hawks flying around her, laughing, telling jokes.
I say to myself,
“Wow, she’s so beautiful”.
I got to say something to her,
Hi, hey what’s up? Maybe?
But I don’t want to come off too cliche.
maybe I’ll just compliment her.
everything has to be perfect or it’s a no go.
I walk right in front of her,
my eyes stare at her soul,
my mind freezes as I come to speak,
but someone how words came out to speak,
“Hey that umbrella goes exactly perfect with what your wearing. you flawless baby”
she laughs beautifully, while I just smile,
staring at the pearl gaze in her eyes,
I’m now in,
and hooked.

Reminiscing about a girl I feel for at a young age is what inspired me to write this piece.
